That is totally understandable. At first, it’s probably best you do it for yourself. You will find a lot of meaning in it and find out if it’s actually something you want to stick with. Then, maybe slowly start introducing more vegan options to the family. It gets a little harder as you go because you may find it gets a bit repetitive.

I was for over 4 years! It was a great adventure. I found that it didn't fit what my body needed; but I loved what I learned and what I brought forward with me from it!

This is awesome. I strongly agree with listening to your body and making sure you give it what it needs....some people do really well on a vegan diet, some do better on a vegetarian diet. I found it super hard on my body to do vegan :(

I am vegan and my other 3 family members are not. They see my example and are effected. The environment is effected. My friends see my example too and use many of my recipes. I have lost 85 pounds, haven't been sick once and all my labs are now amazing. Its been 1.5 years for me now! You've started your journey! It will be exciting to see where it takes you. Don't give up. People will tease and maybe be weird to you, but your health is worth it. The only person you have control over is yourself so don't let other people's choices keep you from what you know is right for you.

Anyone else Vegan ?

I've been vegan for 3 days and considering I barely ate anything animal derived before I'm finding it easy! My husband and kids are meat eaters. It's a very strange world i'm living in currently where I feel like my efforts won't make a difference as I'm still buying meat for them xD Anyone else the same ?
