Easy Butterfly Valentines

Easy Butterfly Valentines
February 14, 2019

This is my first year being a school mom and I really wanted to do something fun for Noah's first Valentine's Day party. We made these cute butterfly valentines that were so easy to put together and look so much better than a generic store bought card. Here's how we did it.

Items Needed:

  • Clothes Pins - I highly recommend getting actual pins because they are so much cheaper than buying craft clothes pins and you get double the amount.
  • Fun size m&m bags
  • Red paint (or any color of your choosing)
  • Pipe Cleaners (in colors of your choosing)
  • Sharpie
  • Hot glue gun
  • Paint brush

Begin by painting just the front side of your clothes pins. Once dry, draw a cute little smiley face with the Sharpie. Next take your pipe cleaners and fold in half. Hold your pin open and apply just a dab of hot glue on the inside and attach a pipe cleaner at the fold.

Once you have glued all the "antennas" on, use your fingers to create little curves at the tops. Lastly take the bag of m&m's and create a fold. Place in between the clothes pins and you have your butterfly wings.

There you have it, super easy and super cute butterfly Valentine's. Hope you enjoyed!
