As much as motherhood is a beautiful phase, there are so many things that we are unaware of in the beginning. The sleepless nights, nursing our child 24/7 and our mental health, which probably no one talks about. They become so important. I remember when Hridit was born, the first 40 days were so hard. I couldn't do anything I felt like, I couldn't eat what I wanted to and I couldn't sleep when I wanted to. Suddenly, everything was happening according to my child, which made so much sense but didn't all at the same time. 

This is when I realized how my life had probably changed forever. When you become a mother, no one tells you about the things that are going to drastically change around you. One day it's just you and the next, you are a mom and everything you do or don't starts depending on the baby. No matter how hard this may be, let's take everything one day at a time and learn to love ourselves as much as we love everyone around us.
