Yesterday I popped to the supermarket to grab a "quick picnic" for my family. Even though I'm super health conscious, I found myself reaching for 2 giant packets of chocolate muffins. The kind that scarily keeps fresh for months!

We're out of our routine right now. Busy moving house. Stressful for everyone.

The kids are struggling with their emotions of saying goodbye to the old house.

As I wandered around the supermarket with no specific idea, I realized how easy it is just to opt for "not so healthy" because it's easy and there.

Luckily I know how to incorporate the occasional chocolate muffin into a routine of "otherwise healthy eating". (One of my mottos is "Nothing is Forbidden in Moderation".)

I also know how to avoid the pit falls at the supermarket (and which foods are a disaster and which are a better option.)

But not everyone does.

It's easy to get caught up in our busy lives (oh! I so understand busy...our new house now involves a 20 minute walk to school. 4 times a day!)

It's easy to get caught up in our routine of familiarity and "reaching for a frozen pizza" for dinner.

It's easy to get caught up in the idea that "healthy eating is too difficult". Or "I'll get around to it when I'm less busy!"
